The Patient Advisory Group (PAG) is the project’s dedicated patient advisory body, composed of patient representatives from different European countries and disease areas.

Its role is to:
- Contribute through regular online meetings, annual consortium meetings, ad hoc consultations, training sessions and reviews of key project deliverables.
- Provide structured and continuous input across all PROACT EU-Response work.
- Ensure the project remains patient-centred and reflects patients’ needs and lived experience, particularly in adaptive inpatient trials during health emergencies.
- Advise on trial design, outcome selection, recruitment strategies, preparedness planning and policy recommendations.
