Cochrane Colloquium Krakow 2026
PROACT EU-Response will attend the Cochrane Colloquium 2026, which brings together researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and patients to discuss the future of evidence generation, synthesis, and use, with a focus on advancing trustworthy, transparent, and inclusive health evidence.
At the conference, the project will present COSAVRI, its development for a core outcome set for pharmacological treatments in hospitalised patients with acute viral respiratory infections, through two presentations: one on the machine learning and large language model methods used for large-scale screening, and one on the outcomes reported in trials identified through its large-scale scoping review.
The programme includes:
- An oral presentation, titled ‘Leveraging machine learning and large language models for large-scale screening: lessons from COSAVRI’, delivered by Anastasia Koryakina (University College London, the Social Research Institute).
- A poster presentation, titled ‘Outcomes reported in trials of pharmacological treatments for acute viral respiratory infections’, delivered by Julia Louw (University of Galway, Centre for Health Research Methodology).
The Cochrane Colloquium 2026 will take place from 8 to 10 December in Krakow, Poland.
