PROACT EU-Response will be represented at the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics Conference 2026, held jointly with the Annual Conference of the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS). The event aims to highlight the opportunities created by advances in artificial intelligence and data science for methodological developments into improved biomedical research and healthcare.

During the conference, project partners will deliver a workshop exploring methodological, operational and regulatory challenges in designing clinical studies for respiratory tract viral infections, including in pandemic settings.

The workshop is being prepared and will be held by:

• Franz König (Medical University of Vienna)
• Alain Amstutz and Matthias Briel (University of Basel)
• Dominique Costagliola (Institut Pierre Louis d’Epidémiologie et de Santé Publique, Sorbonne Université, INSERM).

The conference will be held from 27 September to 1 October 2026 in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
